East-Gate delivered a sales processes automation solution for Carrier Commercial Refrigeration Czech.
Information about finished production is sent from East-Gate's PROCE55 MES to SAP to prepare the shipment. This data, including information from SAP, is then also sent by MES to the JD Edwards system, which Carrier uses as a sales system.

In the German plant of NKT in Cologne, East-Gate implemented the extension of the maintenance system PROCE55 Maintenance to record part repairs outside of the SAP system. For a broken part that will repair externally, the PROCE55 system automatically or manually generates a repair order. The system records the states of the part (e.g. that the part is being repaired externally). After returning from repair, the part is accepted as repaired or unrepaired via a mobile device. If it is irreparable, it is booked in the SAP system. The functionality provides an overview of the movement of parts in the repair and related documents (repair orders, repair reports, etc.) regardless of whether they were created in the SAP or PROCE55 system.

East-Gate sdelivered the MES system for the new production line in Fatra Napajedla. In the new rolling mill, which cost 1.4 billion CZK Fatra launched and increased the total production capacity of floor coverings, waterproofing foils and will expand the range of floor coverings.
The MES system PROCE55 Manufacturing online collects data from the lines and is integrated with the SAP S/4HANA system. Part of the solution is production confirmation, label printing, weighing of finished products and performance measurement, including OEE calculation s and material balance. The PROCE55 Manufacturing system is integrated with manufacturing technologies, weight systems and label printing systems.

Fatra Napajedla, one of the world’s foremost plastic processing companies (PVC, PE, and PET), is significantly expanding its production. At a new rolling mill plant, which is being developed for 1.4 billion CZK, Fatra will increase the total production capacity of floor coverings, waterproofing foils and will expand the offer of floor coverings. Fatra will use PROCE55 Manufacturing application as their MES system, which will collect data from production lines online and will be integrated with the SAP system. The solution includes production confirmation, label printing, finished products weighing and performance measurement, including OEE calculation and material balance.

Martin Chábela from ArcelorMittal Gonvarri SSC Slovakia and Juraj Sabaka from East-Gate held a speech named “The Road to Smart Maintenance” at the 8th annual Practical Maintenance Forum in Trnava. They presented practical experience with implementation of the smart maintenance system, which is being developed at ArcelorMittal Gonvarri based on PROCE55 Maintenance. The conference is organized by IPA Slovakia.

East-Gate implemented Pick by Light system at Mýto plant of Carrier Refrigeration Operation Czech Republic, the manufacturer of refrigeration and freezing equipment for commercial purposes. The system was implemented in cooperation with the SSI SCHÄFER company which is a supplier of the Pick by Light technology. PROCE55 system manages picking of selected groups of materials for production based on pick-lists from the SAP system, which are created from production orders and employee identification. It checks whether workers selected the correct material in the required quantity and warns of any errors. The system extends the PROCE55 Warehouse system and is online integrated with the SAP system.

After the implementation of the PROCE55 Warehouse WMS system in the Napajedla plant, Fatra decided to deploy the system to the Chropyně plant as well.
The WMS system is integrated with label printing systems, the PROCE55 Manufacturing MES system and the SAP system.

Matador Automotive Sodecia decided to extend the production monitoring and visualization project also to key machines at the Czech plant in Liberec.
It is an extension of the successful implementation of production monitoring, OEE measurement and visualization, which are already running on almost 50 machines at Slovak plants in Vráble and Nitra. Part of the project is online data collection from machines.

Aside from other themes, the topic of intelligent maintenance was also discussed at the 15th international Maintenance conference. Ivan Gallo, the founder of East-Gate, also gave a speech together with speakers from Škoda Auto, Unipetrol, Slovnaft, ABB, Siemens and others. The conference took place at Liblice Castle, in the conference center of the Czech Academy of Sciences, under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic.

The lecture met with a great response from almost 200 participants of the Production Management 2018 conference, which took place in Žilina, and was followed by an interesting discussion. This traditional excellent event is organized by IPA Slovakia.

East-Gate delivered PROCE55 system for failure notification entry and maintenance performance evaluation to Matador Automotive. The solution allows operators and other authorized workers to enter maintenance requests from the machine immediately. The system records requests and promptly notifies relevant maintenance workers by email and SMS via PROCE55 EWS (Early Warning System) alert system automatically and in a controlled way. This speeds up the response of maintenance workers and shortens downtime caused by failures. At the same time, records of outages and their causes have improved, which allows Matador to take appropriate measures. PROCE55 EWS allows failure notifications to be escalated according to the escalation matrix. The system also automatically sends maintenance services to the SAP system.

East-Gate delivered a mobile application for oil management to Embraco.
The solution is based on the PROCE55 Mobile platform and enables workers to carry out optimal and mobile oil management.
The project is a successful continuation of the existing cooperation, when East-Gate solutions at Embraco manage logistics, warehouses, online production confirmation, quality assurance and more. The solutions are integrated online with the SAP system.
Embraco is the world's largest manufacturer of compressors and belongs to the Whirlpool group.

Matador Automotive expanded production monitoring and visualization, including OEE measurement, to another 41 machines. The project is implemented at the main production plants in Vráble and Nitra. It is based on PROCE55 OEE application from East-Gate and is a follow up to previous successful projects. Large screens have been installed on the production equipment, which display information and trends, including quality information (error message) in real time. The system collects data directly from the machines. The solution is online integrated with the SAP system.

Coavis Slovakia Hlohovec, subsidiary of a Korean group, one of the world's largest producers of fuel pumps, have begun a productive use of PROCE55 Applications for automating shop-floor processes during this summer. The project covers processes of logistics (WMS Kanban, traceability), manufacturing (production confirmation, machine data collection, OEE, production visualization, Skill Matrix qualification compliance check) and maintenance, using bar code control as well. Currently, production planning/scheduling and PROCE55 integration with corporate ERP system JD Edwards is being implemented.

Considering the expected production growth, the Japanese TDK group decided to implement PROCE55 MES from East-Gate also in the production plant in Malaysia. It is based on a positive experience with PROCE55 MES in production plants in Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, China, Indonesia and Brazil. These plants belong to EPCOS division, a manufacturer of electronic components. Among other things, PROCE55 MES at EPCOS supports mainly core business processes – production, while extending the functionality of the standard SAP ERP system. TDK uses a central SAP system for all plants globally, still not covering all the detailed and specific production needs of individual plants and production lines connectivity. In this case, PROCE55 based applications offer an advantage solving this problem.

Škoda Auto have started productive use of mobile maintenance application (AMU) based on PROCE55. PROCE55 mobile application running on tablets of maintenance workers has shortened the troubleshooting times, it allows maintenance operators unlimited work during the period when the SAP system is unavailable with mobile on-line access to the maintenance documentation. This allowed to substantially increase the maintenance productivity and availability of production facilities. The solution is closely integrated with SAP and PM module. Since the beginning of 2016 AMU has been successfully deployed into production in two plants (welding operations Kvasiny and engine production Mladá Boleslav). The roll-out to other plants is being prepared as well.
